    • 2015 Warriors to Lourdes Pilgrimage

The 2015 Warriors to Lourdes Pilgrimage for the 57th Annual International Military Pilgrimage (PMI) will take place May 12-18, 2015

The Warriors to Lourdes Pilgrimage for Military Personnel as part of the International Military Pilgrimage (PMI) is a joint project of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, and the Knights of Columbus. Building on the commitment of both organizations to serve members of the military, the pilgrimage is designed to allow military personnel and their designated caregivers (if applicable) and/or companions to travel to the Marian shrine for a time of resting, praying, healing and connecting with other members of the military from across the world.

About the International Military Pilgrimage (PMI)

The International Military Pilgrimage (PMI) was established in 1946 to promote reconciliation, peace and healing after World War II. This charism remains a grace today through the Sacrament of Penance for many and the unity of prayer for all.

Every year for one weekend in May, Lourdes, France, becomes "home" to a worldwide military family representing over 35 nations. Under the maternal protection of the Mother of God, Lourdes is transformed into a place of prayer, peace and healing for active duty members and veterans of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.
The package rate for European-based volunteers and companion-caregivers is:  $580 (double occupancy), $780 (single occupancy) and includes round-trip transportation from Kaiserlautern, Germany, as well as lodging, meals, and PMI credentials.

All applications and payments (if applicable) are due in full by January 31, 2015.

Approved wounded or disabled military personnel will attend free of charge. Essential companion-caregivers may be offered needs-based financial assistance on a case-by-case basis.

    • Ramstein AB, Germany

On behalf of the Holy Family Catholic Community, welcome to the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). We all know that being in the military means having to endure frequent moves to different assignments. This is part of the price we pay by serving our country in uniform. While it can be difficult adjusting to a new job, the hardest part of any move is often rebuilding a support system for yourself and your family. We all would like to know someone to turn to during those times when we may need a little extra help. It is our hope that the Catholic faith community here at the chapel can be a part of that support system. We have a great network of active duty, civilian, and retired families who help each other in their spiritual and everyday needs of life. You are invited to become a part of this faith community. Please come on in and be at home.
